DESTINY (Digital Evidence Synthesis Tool Innovation for Yielding improvements in climate & health) was established in 2025. We are a research consortium led by the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) and comprising the following partners:

  • Campbell Collaboration
  • Center for Rapid Evidence Synthesis (ACRES)
  • Cochrane
  • Effective Basic Services Africa (eBASE)
  • Future Evidence Foundation
  • London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine
  • University College London
  • University of Cape Town

Our mission is to transform how evidence on climate and health is produced and used. We do this by making rigorous evidence synthesis faster, more efficient and more accessible, through the responsible use of AI, co-production, and open science. We work with diverse users and decision makers worldwide to co-create equitable access to trustworthy, continuously updated evidence, informing policy and practice which improve people’s lives through better climate and health outcomes.

DESTINY is supported by the Wellcome Trust [313586/Z/24/Z]
